
Our Story
We are Peipei and Ethan, and though our paths began in different fields, our shared love for design and food has brought new meaning to our journey together. During the quarantine, Ethan, formerly a mechanical designer, found solace in the kitchen, handcrafting noodles and perfecting a signature chili oil with a blend of carefully selected spices. For Peipei, whose background is in art and design, food became the perfect medium to share culture—a way to invite others to experience tradition through taste.

While we didn’t come together through these passions initially, they have since become central to our shared dream. This dream led to the creation of Hi Noodles, a place where we envisioned something beyond just a restaurant. For us, making noodles from scratch—mixing flour, kneading dough, and transforming simple ingredients into something extraordinary—feels like creating art. Every dish tells a story, blending traditional Chinese techniques with modern flavors and design.
